Air Pistol

With seperate events for men and women, Air Pistol shooting joined the Olympic program in 1988.
Competitors use .177 calibre pistols to fire lead pellets at targets 10 meters away. The bullseye has a 11.5mm 10-ring, with the entire target being just 15cm across.
The Men's and Junior Male event is a 60 shot match.

15 minutes Equipment setup followed by 15 minutes Preparation time
and Unlimited sighters.
The actual match is then shot over 90 minutes.

The Women's and Junior Female match is a 40 shot match.
